When on Pave Spike trials at Eglin A/F base in Florida in 1976 with 2 Buccs from 15 and 16 sqdn the fuel tanker drivers refused to fuel us because they didn't recognise the name Buccaneer for their fuel dockets, so I called it an NA 39 and they then gave us as much fuel as we wanted. I don't know what the accounts people who got the bill ever thought of that.

Welcome to the madhouse that is the Buccaneer Society, Arthur.

Do you happen to have any photos/images, from your time on the P/S trials?

smiley Dear society members and friends.
We are a member from the society for many years, we haved signed up again to hold the fantastic relation we have with the BBS. In 2007 we started up a new aircraft museum in the Netherlands our name is International Aircraft Solutions Park. Our problem is a def. location for the museum, and that is almost a fact to realise this. Our whishes is almost definitive want we have a option for a fantastic def. location. We are now nearby Amsterdam (uithoorn) and we are going to Kerkrade in the south of the Netherlands in a fantastic accomodation. Than as we are ready you are all invited to our museum. We shall send the BBS a special invitation as the museum can't open his doors. Our goals are the RAF history bring into the Netherlands, we have on this moment a bucc. cockpit XV167 we have payed from Aviodrome (this is absolute not from Aviodrome donated to us! this is wrong on the publication in information). We are being to restaurate the cockpit want Aviodrome and the first owner with the name Action Event have the cockpit with disrespect damaged. We are looking for a original canopy, what we have is totaly not original, one of the seats are damaged and incompleted. You understand we are looking for parts of the bucc. We give the BBS foto's from this cockpitsection and we will with everyone within the BBS to build a strong relation. Also is our goal for the IASP museum to have a complete Buccaneer and a Harrier. Our website is under construction to rebuilding and is on a later moment to see on www.iasp-museum.com

Dear friends greetings to you all and untill the next communication.
