Just had 889's replacement Refuel/Defuel Panel arrive, its in good condition and has all the neccessary looms still attached.

Were doing well on spares this year already, I have just confirmed the acqusition of a seat harness and a PSP cover for the rear seat.
With replacement engine access covers in the offing as well, I think we may need a bigger caravan chaps!!!

Scratch one part of the wants list then! smiley I keep checking on ebay etc for parts but other than the recent costly HUD units there hasnt been much of late..

There has been a few Unserviceable items come up, and this is the route we are going down, fortunately, we have contacts all over the UK, that can sort out u/s items.

Refuel/Defuel panel temporarily fitted, also found out today that the Density Correction Switch is u/s, so will require another at some point.

I had a right place, right time moment yesterday and got given a Buccaneer radar complete with transportation frame shocked

Radar with the top part of the transportation frame removedů

Not wishing to clutter up my home with even more aircraft parts I have now donated the radar to the restoration of XX889.

Have fun fitting it lads grin

I have already made a decision that this is Dan's baby, he's the one I have appointed to undertake corrosion/cleaning work, I am sure he will be chomping at the bit to get his teeth into it!! wink

Their is no way it will ever be turned on, not up for a bit of RADHAZ!!!
