The team were in attendance yesterday to unload the Parrot, and then test fit it to the aircraft, alas, the gods did not play ball with the weather.

We will attempt the test fit on our next visit, weather permitting.

My thanks go out to Francis for securing the Radar for us, and to young Timbob for getting down to us.

Preparation for the show season, started today.

We attempted to wash her down, but found that we have totally run out of detergent, so we will attempt a proper clean down next week.

The old Grey Caravan is no more, after we were gifted a 15ft Portacabin, and have already transfered all the parts, manuals etc, across to the new unit.

The unit needs some storage cupboard errected, but most of this will be lifted from the old Caravan.

Hopefully, either Anthony, Dan or Timbo, have taken some shots of it and will post one or two up.

I have to agree, the new classic jet dispersal looks excellent, especially after sniff squeezed the last few drops of breath out of the mower and gaves us a nice, albeit smokey trim job..it looks really smart round there grin

blimey tim just how many canberra's are you having affairs with now, are you hoping for the same deal with running the PR9 at kemble on open days as with 333 at brunty if she's in runable condition that is

your missus probably thought she should have been born a canberra to get some more attention

Umm..yeah..too many!! shocked

Thankfully I have a very understanding better half, who is also studying for her accountancy exams so is glad for the peace and quiet!

As for the plan..we're not 100% sure ourselves yet. '135 is technically only a few weekends work away from being fit to run, never having been dismantled. However, the aim is to just keep the aircraft looking presentable and to keep the systems as live as possible for now. With it belonging to a third party we are voluntary caretakers really, so we'll leave the fast taxy action for '333 at Brunty smiley
