Good to see the third getting up to speed, are you aiming for some open day action then

at the rate things are going it'll be the lack of STADs that will hinder things DT still hasn't managed to get his 2 back on line yet and the palouste is dead until it can have the engine module changed, might need a big push to fettle them in time

I was aiming to work on some of this if it wasn't for the mis behaving JP

if it was off a harrier then i might be able to source it but alas no, we use the same (sorry used) the same material for all the RCS ducts in the harrier, not sure if you could mod one and what the space is like maybe worth posting a pic of the opposite one that i know you have spare

they have xx901 at the yorkshire air museum and when I spoke to the man who was stripping the paintwork down to respray it I,m sure he said that both engines were seized and that they had no intentions of making it a runner,it .belongs to some aircrew preservation group as long as the part you have could be fitted to the duff engine and looks the part what does it matter if its split or cracked may be worth an ask.

Some photos to go with Andy’s comments...

And to update all of yesterdays 544 work, which was mostly to finish up all of the above.
Replacement accumulator is in and working lovely. and the brakes now need bleeding

Port engine fcu was found to have a seal missing which would explain the acceleration/deceleration issues, so this was rectified and then both engines were run again and hyd's cycled by 894's pilot Mike, unfortunately we ran out of time to fine tweak the port engine so this will need to be looked at again next time.

A replacement canopy motor was put in and tested.

Still plenty to do to prep for the open day
