xx Buccaneer SMk2B XX895 - Progress
« Thread started on: Dec 5th, 2007, 08:36am »

Sadly, XX895 was reduced to just a nose section some years ago. See here for photos: http://www.buccsociety.com/xx895/xx895_mini_picture_index1.htm

The nose section of 895 is now under the care/ownership of Malcolm Coe and Malcolm has very ambitious plans to fully restore 895 to as near as complete as possible.
This will be a very long term project and Malcolm has already collected a vast number of spares, including two ejection seats, a radar and a host of other cockpit instruments.

Although the restoration will be slow I will update this page as and when progress is made.

After retirement XX895 was displayed in the Planets leisure complex in Woking…

And this is what Malcolm has to work with now!

Later, I will post up some photos of the various parts that Malcolm has been collecting to date.

All photos in this thread are copy write to Malcolm Coe © unless otherwise stated.

I always wondered what happened to this Bucc! It is a shame she was reduced to just a nose section though.

Yes Malcolm does need another canopy. Unfortunately there is a big hole in the original one.
Any leads for parts for this project will be greatly appreciated. So thank you anyway Matt.

There is still more to come off 864 in the future, just hope that we are successful when she comes up for tender.
