Unfortunately the port engine needs some work doing that will require its removal and subsequent repair. The hydraulics although operable, need some new pipes making as the existing ones are somewhat corroded. All of this work is due to be carried out later this year but as with most things of this nature is subject to resource and fine weather. All in all a great result and the chaps down there at Gatwick need a pat on the back for all their efforts!

That's the first time I,ve ever heard them a mk1 run up. There was a mk1 as gate guardian at lossie xk531 or xk532 if my memory serves me correctly there are obvious differences when you look at the different marks, but things I hadn,t noticed were the split engine access door and air starter connection access panel.I notice the wing tips are not a standard fit they appear very much like the camera tips that were fitted when the sea eagle was being trialed.Fantastic pictures and video on photobucket wish I was there to hear it in person.
