Yet another survivor for the ever expanding list!

This is XW547. A former resident at the Cosford Museum, it has since relocated to the Museum at Hendon, sadly its current location in the building coupled with the poor lighting makes it very difficult to photograph sad. (22-08-06)

I should also have mentioned some time ago that both Buccaneer fuselages XW528 and XV867 that are pictured over on page 1 are no longer ‘survivors’ These both having gone through the fragmentizer at the yard back in December 2005 cry.

And secondly XW541 also at Welshpool, although this one is moving over seas shortly. (25-09-2006)

As always, the viewing of these aircraft is strictly by prior permission.
More photos of both of these Buccs can be seen in due course on the main website. I will put the links here when the site is updated.

Ah, looks like my contact came up trumps for you Francis.

As ever, great shots, still looks hard to get a decent shot of XT277, bout time Roy got himself a bigger display hall wink

Next we have Ulster Aviation Societies, XV361, these images are kindly supplied and copyright by Neville Greenlee of the U.A.S, many thanks Neville.

The images were taken around the early part of this year as UAS move to a new home.

Its been a while, but thanks to fellow Buccaneer Trust team member Malcolm Coe we have a new survivor for the collection.
As can be seen from the photos, XX895 is in a very poor state and currently rests near Bicester, Oxfordshire.
A sad end to a once brilliant piece of engineering….

This next one is a bit harder to see, so I’m grateful for the chaps who made it possible for me to get this close!

XK526 is the gate guard at RAF Honnington. She started life as an S.Mk.1 and was the only one converted to an S.Mk.2 as a prototype. A very rare Bucc indeed! (12-01-2007).

This final one is nose section XN967. She used to be kept at RAF Coltishal as part of the cockpit collection, but all the nose sections had to vacate upon closure of the RAF base. XN967 along with the other cockpit sections have relocated to the Norwich Aviation Museum (12-01-2007).
